Privacy

Frenology is a friendship quiz for people aged 13 and older. We built it to collect as little as possible.

What we store

• An anonymous session ID in a cookie, so we know which results are yours. No account, no email, no name.
• Whether you passed the age check. We never store your birth date.
• Your quiz answers, and the nickname you typed for your friend. The nickname is only shown to you.
• Which app an invite link was opened from (for example WhatsApp), so we know which sharing works.
• A one-way scrambled version of your IP address, used only to stop spam and abuse.

What we never collect

Real names, photos, contacts or address books, precise location, or social logins.

Ads

Frenology is free because of ads. Ads only load if you choose "Allow ads", and we only ever request non-personalized ads. Ads never appear in the middle of a quiz. Sponsored quizzes are always labeled.

Analytics

We count events like "quiz completed" on our own servers, tied only to the anonymous session ID. There are no third-party tracking scripts.

Delete your data

You can delete any single result from its page. To delete everything tied to this browser (results you made, nicknames, and answers you gave), use the button below. If you can't access the browser you used, email with the invite or result link.
